...How many people claim to be Christians?

Just how many people (in the world) claim to be Christians? I was looking for stats to support a discussion that I had with some friends and couldn't find any answers on the web. If you could point me in the right direction I'd be thankful.
The Pew Research Center gives these figures for 2020:

  1. Christians 2,382,750,000
  2. Muslims 1,907,110,000
  3. Unaffiliated 1,193,750,000
  4. Hindus 1,161,440,000
  5. Buddhists 506,990,000
  6. Folk Religions 429,640,000
  7. Other Religions 60,990,000
  8. Jews 14,660,000

  10. All Religions 7,657,330,000


Under "Folk (and smaller) Religions" they give this breakdown:

  1. Chinese traditional religion 394 million
  2. Ethnic religions 300 million
  3. African traditional religions 100 million
  4. Sikhism 26 million
